Megan's Baptism

Last Sunday Megan was welcomed into the church with Baptism! We want to say a big thanks to her Godparents, Aunt Diane and Cousin Travis, for guiding her through her spiritual life. And also a big thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate the joyous day!

Rainy day and Mickey Mouse underwear

Could rain anymore?? We've had pretty bad thunderstorms roll through since last night. Jack slept through it all and Megan was up once, I think just to check it all out!
So I figured what better time to attempt big boy underwear with Jack than a rainy, pajama day. So far no accidents, but no actual using of the potty either. We'll see how it goes. Wish us good luck!!

On a side note...I'm going back to work tomorrow! I am working at Ameriprise Financial as a financial specialist. It sounds more important than it is! It's more of a support role. It's a little bitter sweet...I am excited to go back to work, but I am sad to leave Megan. She's starting to laugh, grab at toys, and she just loves to smile at you! She does something new every day. The up side is Jack and Megan will be going back to daycare full time and Jack LOVES his babysitter Fonda. Plus he'll get to play with all the other kids.

Zoo with Megan and Jack

We took advantage of the awesome weather today and went to the zoo with Grandma Thompson. This was Megan's first trip to the zoo and our first trip with the double stroller! My arms got a work out today!!

Look what I can do !

So I walked into the living room yesterday to find Jack counting to Megan. He used his fingers till 3 then just said the rest. Megan loves to be talked to and Jack is happy to tell her about everything!!

We've been busy wrapping up Summer. We took Jack for his first DQ experience, Oreo Blizzard, yum! We spent some time at the pool with my sister Joann and my nephew Nathan. Jack helped Darrell mow the grass. And Megan turns 3 months old today!!! Where has this summer gone??
