9 days and counting!

Baby girl is scheduled to be here in 9 days!!! Here's hoping she bakes for another 9 days. I went back to the Dr. yesterday and we're still on track. Blood pressure was back to normal, weight is good, and Dr. Rose estimated a 7lb baby. I can't wait to meet my daughter. I'm so anxiuos to see what/who she looks like!
Jack has been talking about his baby sister coming and wants to name her "mommy". I keep telling him that's my name, but he doesn't seem to care! Jack is still going to swim lessons and did much better this last week. He used the kick board on both his belly and back and learned to jump in the pool with Daddy's help.

Getting closer

Today I went back in for my weekly check up and everything is still on track except my blood pressure. It was a little elevated today and so I had to stay an extra hour to be monitored. I have to have it checked again tomorrow, but the Dr thinks it might have just been a fluke thing. 17 days and counting!

Finally back up an running

Ya just gotta love computers. About 10 days ago our computer got hit with some viruses and we just finally got it back up and running, thanks to the IT guy Darrell works with! We've been pretty busy the last week or so. Jack started swim lessons, Mother's Day festivites, and Dr. appts. So I've got a few things to catch you up on.

1st-swin lessons: Jack started swim lessons at the Renaud Center 2 weeks ago and loves it! He loves the water and especially loves having Daddy in the pool with him.(there is no way I am getting in a swimsuit at 9 monthes preggers!)

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms I know! We had a great weekend.

Baby update: I started my weekly Dr. appts since we are now only 3 weeks away from c-section. Baby girl has been moving and kicking like crazy again. She dropped herself into the head down postion and is no longer breech. Baby's heart rate and growth are on schedule and so are all my stats. Now if I could stop the Braxton-Hicks and the swelling, we'd be great! I still can't believe how quickly the pregnancy has gone! C'mon June 4th!

Potty time!

I know it's probably a random fluke but, Jack used the potty before tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He actually pee'd in it! We've been working on sitting on the potty and reading a potty book for about 2 weeks on and off. Hopefully this is the start of potty training! Whoo Hoo!!

Baby update

Had another Dr. appt today and we are good. I am 32 weeks along, measuring at 34 weeks, but my weight is right on track. All my vitals were good and the baby has a strong heartbeat. She has been moving like crazy and I can watch my stomach roll around. Still one of the coolest things ever! I have one more 2-week appt and then we start every week. I can't believe how close we are to the due date. Time to nest!!!

Also thanks to all the JUGS for our winery/baby trip last Saturday. We missed your Stephanie and Susanne! I had a blast and can't wait finish off the yummy cupcakes!!!!!(thanks Bobbi!)

Mom's good!

My mom had surgery today and came through with flying colors. All is good and she is well drugged! She should be home Saturday! Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes!
