Crawfish

Last weekend we hosted and impromptu Crawfish/shrimp boil. Yummy food and great friends.

Jack thought the crawfish were too cool, but didn't eat any! Neither did I!!!!

Happy Spring!

Could it be any more beautiful outside today?!? Sunny sky's, light breeze, and children are down for their nap. Awwwww quiet. So I've been super slacking on the blog these days. This whole SAHM of two is very time consuming(as is life in general!). No time for lounging around with bon-bons and my laptop. Nope, not me, they keep me running all day. So it's been go, go ,go for the last few weeks.

As most of you know my dad has been in and out of the hospital with heart and respiratory issues. However, he is now home and trying to do his best to recover. Hope you're feeling better today dad!!

We've been gearing up for my BIL, Randy's wedding which was last weekend. Happy Wedding wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Randy and Katie Thompson!!! Darrell and Jack were both in the wediing however Jack didn't make it down the aisle... last minute panic and so Jack, Megan and I spent the ceremony in the church lobby.(Ya gotta love a 3 yr old!) The wedding went on as planned and the bride could not have looked better! As did the best man, who I got to take home!!!!

Another trip to the Museum of Transportion. This time with the Knese ladies and belated happy 3rd b-day wishes to Isabella and Chloe!! Jack and the girls loved Creation Station!

Megan is trying her hardest to pullup. She can get to her knees but that's it. Megan is also cutting teeth again. Her top two front teeth and popping through so she has the whole redneck grin going on! I cannot believe my baby girl will be turning 1 in about 2 months. Where the hell did the past year go? Happy Spring everyone!!!

A new season called "Winterspring"

It's my new word for the weather in good ol' MO! We had 30 degrees, snow, sleet, and freezing rain on Monday. And today...the house is open, sunny skies, and 68 degrees! Ya gotta love global warming!

St. Pat's Parade

Yesterday I took the kids to the Cottleville St. Pat's Day Parade. Jack loves all the clowns, trucks and of course the candy! He told me after the parade that the monster truck was his favorite! We were joined by our friends the Nolan's.

Science Center

Last week we met up with the Knese girls for a trip to the St. Louis Science Center. This was Jack's first trip and he absolutley loved it!! Didn't hurt that he was surrounded by girls all day!!
