Not enough room...

I ran out of room on the last post...Along with everything else this fall, Darrell and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary last weekend.  We headed back to southern IL and the Shawnee Wine Trail for the weekend.  We visited some wineries and enjoyed some quiet time!  Happy late anniversay to my handy, wonderful, loving husband, who I still love even though he's hunting!

Picture Catch up

Here's our Fall catch up reel...
Jack started soccer with ICD this fall and has improved since the spring.  He still has his moments of playing with grass and dirt instead of paying attentin to the game, but he's a 4 yr old boy, that's what he's supposed to do!

Darrell got handy before deer season and now Jack has a big kid bed.  And we redesigned his room to Rocketships with glow-in-the-dark stars!

I think we've gotten the last of our garden!  I picked probably the last bowl full of tomatoes and my rose bushes are about done.  But they all look so good!

Apple picking at Eckerts.  A family tradition...ride the ferry, pick some apples, sample some apples, and make yummy apple treats!

And last but not least...picking pumpkins.  The kids and I headed out to Valley Farms in Foristell this weekend to pick pumpkins.  This is by far my favorite time of year.  I love the cool weather, warm clothes, pumpkins, hayrides, and everything that come this time of year.

Kansas City 2012

We headed to KC for a quick weekend get-a-way for the kids. We found a great deal online for hotel, LEGOland, and the new SeaLife exhibit. We stayed at the Westin Crown Center, which is attached to everythong we were going to KC to do. We visited K.C. 's newest attractions which are LEGOland and Sealife. Both were well worth the trip. The aquarium is very cool. The jellyfish were my favorite part. Jack loved the underwater tunnel, which had stingrays and sharks swimming all around.

LEGOland, I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or Darrell.  The amount of work that goes into the works of art at LEGO land is amazing.  Jack built a racecar, Megan built a house.  They had an amazing display of the KC skyline as well as the wonderful world of Oz.

Crown Center has an amazing amount of things to do and see.  We visited Union Staion, Kalidascope, Fritz's, and the fountains.  If you plan a trip I highly recommend Crown Center.  They offer a lot of free activities and kept the kids entertained ALL DAY!!!!

St. Louis Zoo

I'm so late in posting pictures, but we were lucky enough to preview the new Sea Lion enclosure at the St. Louis Zoo.  We were able to walk through the underwater dome, enjoy a Sea Lion show and visit some of the other exhibits at our zoo.  Thanks again to my niece Courtney, who joined us an endured the great game of 120 questions with Jack:)  I even convinced Courtney to feed the sharks and stingrays
