I know, I know. I just realized it has been over a month since I actually took time to look at this. I could sit here a make million excuses, but to be honest I just haven't had the energy to sit in front of the computer and type. So what happens...I end up doing it from work.
I promise to be better at it and I will get some pictures up over the weekend. We've had a bunch going on with refinishing to basement, our new puppy Henry(you'll get pic's of him too!), and we've been battling some sort of virus at our house. Darrell and I were home from work on Monday and Jack has had some diaper issues for the last 4 days!
I will get this back up a running soon, I promise.

Sex and the City
Sooooooooo Loved it!!!!! I went to see the movie last night with my good girlfriend Laura last night and came home smiling. I am a huge SnC fan!!! While pregnant last summer, when it was too hot and my feet were the size of mutant grapefruits, I sat on the weekends with my feet up watching my girlfriends. I watched the entire series from beginning to end. I think the shows popularity comes from the fact that all of us are made up of all four of these smart, funny, and relationship challenged women. We all are all hopeful romantics like Carrie. We all have a little bit of Samantha's power, Charlotte's charm, and Miranda's sceptisism in us. We all have know these women or have been these women at some point in our lives. And we all know that Mr. Big is a hottie!!!!!!!
Go see it, take a girlfriend, and love this movie!

N.K.O.T.B.
Okay, I've reverted back to being a 12 year old this week. I heard on the radio that New Kids on the Block have apparently reunited with all original members (Jordan, Jonathan, Donnie, Joey, and Danny, yes I know them!) and are going out on tour to support a new single and album. Is anyone else sort of excited by this. The first thing that popped into my head was "Where do I get tickets." And then the second thing that popped in was, "Beverly, you're 3errrr, 28 years old and you are getting excited about a boy band." But can we still call them a boy band when one of them is pushing 40. So anyway it got me thinking about how I knew all the words to all thier songs,(probably still can do a mean kereoke to "I'll Be Loving You") and had posters plastered on all my walls. I even saw them in concert 3 times. Once at Six Flags, once at the Kiel, and once at the old Busch Stadium. Oh puppy love.
Every one had there favorite. Mine was Jonathan. My best friend at the time, Jennifer Baldwin, loved Joey. We'd spend all our time memorizing lyrics and dance steps, yeah we rocked it! So tonight I'm gonna break out the old tapes, yes I still have them, and relive my youth. And maybe if I can someone to go with me, buy NKOTB concert tickets!

The Blue Pumpkin
I'm a little torn. Those of you who know me know that I am a Cardinals fan and that I, like most Cards fans, dislike the Cubs. However, with recent news I've come to find out that my favorite player, Jim Edmonds(aka Pumpkin), might possibly become a Cub. Ohhhhhh the horror, the horror!
Many have said that it won't make much difference because Jimmy is too old to play the game. But we should all be so lucky to have a job that allows us to go play outside everyday. And that at 38 he CAN still play the game.
So if this happens and Jimmy becomes a Chicago Cub...God help me, I may have to cheer for a Cub.

Snooze alarm
The alarm clock gods have smiled upon us this past week. (knock on wood)
Jack has been sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!! I however still wake up about 2:00am and still check on him, but I think that's a mom thing. I'll probably still do it when he's 16, only to check to make sure he's home!!!!!!
I've been able to hit the snooze alarm twice this week and get ready for work without interruption. I hope this isn't a fluke.
And some even better news.... my very good friends Susanne and Lenn Knese welcomed their identical twin girls into the world over the weekend. Isabella and Chloe are healthy and doing well. As is mom. Good Luck to the new parents and enjoy the ride!

Calgon Take Me Away!
So I've been absent from posting the last couple of weeks because I am learning how to juggle. Juggle, you say? Yep. Juggling only a mom can understand. I started a new job that is requiring me to spend about 45 minutes each way in the car, found out Jack will need a new daycare in 2 weeks, trying to keep up with my house, and oh yeah spending time with my family! You hear all these stories about working moms vs. stay-at-home moms and think it won't affect you, but it does. And it SUCKS!!!! I get about 15 minutes with Jack in the morning before I have to take him to daycare. Then get about 2 hours at night, which is busy getting dinner ready, laundry, dishes, and getting Jack a bath, fed, and to bed at a decent hour. And now our daycare informed me last night that she will no longer be able to care for Jack as of May 2. So now Darrell and I are scrambling to find daycare that is close to home, within our price range, and is available for the hours we need. Sorry about the rant, but it was time to let off some steam.
And to top it off post pregnancy hormones are taking over and I'm breaking out like a 13 year old girl!!!! I'm 3......28 years old for goodness sake. I should not have to deal with acne anymore.
