Job

Just got back from my first job interview in 8 months!! Very interested in the job and think I could do really well at it, however I'm not sure I'm ready to go back to work right now. We'll see what happens!

Back to the Dr.

So back to the Dr. we go for another weight check and we're finally back up to birth weight!!!! Yippie! It took her almost 3 weeks but Megan is starting to eat like a champ. We have to go back in a week again but I'm positive we'll be well on our way to a chunky little baby!
Now let's all pray this will add a few more hours to Megan's sleep cycles at night!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the dads I know!! Megan and Jack so far haven't given Darrell the day off! Megan was up at 5:00 to eat and Jack was up at 6:00. Then Darrell made breakfast for all of us. Actually this is turning out to be a pretty good deal for me!! Here are some pics from today.

Made it through the week!

Thanks to my mom, I survived my first week at home with the kids!(I can't believe I have TWO kids.) Darrell went back to work this week and I was still on limited lifting and no driving so my mom gave up her week to come help. Jack loved having Grandma Abt here to play with, even though we had a few more "time-outs" this last week.
Megan is doing great. She and I both went back to the Dr. yesterday. Meagan is 4 oz. shy of her birth weight, but gained 7 oz. since last week! She is weighing in at 7 lbs 8 oz. So she's moving in the right direction. I was ok'd to drive, but I'm still limited to lifting Jack only when necessary and still need to be careful doing the stairs.

Other stuff: Happy Belated Birthday to my nephew, Nathan! And to my BIL Randy! Happy birthday guys hope it was a good one!!

1 week old!

Megan already looks like a different baby! She is doing well and loves to be held. We are trying to get some sleep, but Megan has days and nights mixed up so Darrell and I are taking turns sleeping in the recliner with her. God love Jack, he sleeps through it all!!! We're coping the best we can and we'll see how we do Tuesday when Darrell goes back to work.
